Halle is an emerging visual artist and community arts facilitator, working across painting, drawing, and animation. Her practice is a celebration of connection, vulnerability, and gratitude, built in part by her experience with chronic illness. Often using the boundaries between light and shadow as a metaphor, she visualizes the dissonant temporalities that make up our lifetimes and explores the depth of joy in the context of pain.

With a background in environmental and marine science, Halle considers herself an observer. Her art practice grows from quiet observations of patterns in nature, in people, and in the shadows that cast themselves across her walks home. Through her work, Halle aims to exaggerate these subtle patterns and invite the viewer to notice and imagine them alongside her.
